Our Story
Built out of frustration with how consulting usually works.
Whisel Project Solutions started in 2026 when our founder, Rodd Whisel, kept running into the same problem: businesses were paying large consulting firms significant fees and getting back thick reports full of recommendations that never got implemented.
The insight was simple. Most small and mid-size businesses don't need a 200-page strategy deck. They need someone to roll up their sleeves, understand how the business actually works, and help them fix the specific things that are slowing them down.
So that's what we built. A small, senior team that works directly with business owners and operators — no hand-offs to junior staff, no bloated project timelines, no deliverables that collect dust. Just practical work that makes a measurable difference.
Eight years and 50+ projects later, that's still exactly what we do.

Rodd spent 12 years leading safety and inspections at high-growth companies before founding Whisel Project Solutions. He's built and rebuilt safety and inspections teams across e-commerce, professional services, and manufacturing — and has a particular obsession with eliminating the processes that exist only because "that's how we've always done it."
